Ronald A. Hoxter (CPA, MBA, CBI)
President

Ronald A. Hoxter (CPA, CBI) is President of Mill Creek Partners. Ron has completed dozens of business sales transactions, ranging in size from $500 thousand to $15 million over the past eight years.

Ron has been involved in mergers and acquisitions and business brokerage since leaving the Chilton Company, a Radnor-based $250 million publishing subsidiary of Walt Disney, in 1997. He was involved in the sale of the Chilton Company to Reed Elsevier for over $500 million in 1997.

While at Chilton, he held a variety of management positions over a fourteen-year period, the last being Senior Vice President with general management responsibility for several divisions of the company. He joined the Chilton Company as Chief Financial Officer in 1984 from Revlon where he had held a Controller's position.

Ron had a variety of financial and general management positions prior to Disney and Revlon with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Arthur Andersen & Co.

He holds an MBA from Columbia University and is a New York State CPA. Mr. Hoxter is a CBI, a Certified Business Intermediary, the highest level of certification from the International Business Brokers Association of competence in the business brokerage profession.

Ron is the President of the Mid Atlantic Business Brokers Association, an affiliate of the International Business Brokers Association, representing business brokers and intermediaries in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He is an adjunct professor of accounting at Philadelphia University.

John B. Benjamin
Vice President
John B. Benjamin joined the Mill Creek team with a strong corporate finance background.

Over a career spanning 17 years, he held senior management positions with ARAMARK, ARCO Chemical and Vlaisic Foods. John has extensive experience in M & A and divestitures, having worked on dozens of transactions involving both private and public companies. John's financing background includes arranging commercial loans, private placements, syndicated bank facilities, and public debt and equity issuances. His depth of experience is a significant benefit in assisting Mill Creek clients with financial, operational, and strategic issues.

Mr. Benjamin holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Stanford University, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Cornells Johnson School.

Daniel J. Mellbye
Senior Business Advisor
Daniel J. Mellbye was working in Sales and Marketing with Clever Ideas, Inc prior to joining the Mill Creek team. His work led him throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, providing marketing and finance programs for independent and national restaurants to improve measurable results in sales and cash flow.

Prior to this position Dan was a licensed sales agent for a large insurance company providing multiple lines of insurance in Pennsylvania.

Dan holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.

Tom Spadea
Certified Franchise Executive
Tom has served as Vice President of Franchise Development over the past few years for multiple concepts including Saladworks, a 100 store regional restaurant chain which pioneered the quick casual made to order salad in front of the guest and The Huntington Learning Center, a 32 year old franchised chain of over 400 supplemental education centers in 41 states. Prior to that he was Director of Franchising for Ritas Water Ice, a 500 unit retail chain of franchised frozen dessert restaurants where he helped them grow from 300 stores to over 500 stores in under 3 years.

Prior to his executive franchise experience, he was the owner and President of LPB Communications where he co-founded a factory in Latin America, successfully created an international sales network in Asia and invented a product for which he was granted a US Patent. He graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Finance from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
