Ronald A. Hoxter (CPA, MBA, CBI)
President

Ronald A. Hoxter (CPA, CBI) is President of Mill Creek Partners. Ron has completed dozens of business sales transactions, ranging in size from $500 thousand to $15 million over the past eight years.

Ron has been involved in mergers and acquisitions and business brokerage since leaving the Chilton Company, a Radnor-based $250 million publishing subsidiary of Walt Disney, in 1997. He was involved in the sale of the Chilton Company to Reed Elsevier for over $500 million in 1997.

While at Chilton, he held a variety of management positions over a fourteen-year period, the last being Senior Vice President with general management responsibility for several divisions of the company. He joined the Chilton Company as Chief Financial Officer in 1984 from Revlon where he had held a Controller's position.

Ron had a variety of financial and general management positions prior to Disney and Revlon with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Arthur Andersen & Co.

He holds an MBA from Columbia University and is a New York State CPA. Mr. Hoxter is a CBI, a Certified Business Intermediary, the highest level of certification from the International Business Brokers Association of competence in the business brokerage profession.

John B. Benjamin
Vice President
John B. Benjamin joined the Mill Creek team with a strong corporate finance background.

Over a career spanning 17 years, he held senior management positions with ARAMARK, ARCO Chemical and Vlaisic Foods. John has extensive experience in M & A and divestitures, having worked on dozens of transactions involving both private and public companies. John's financing background includes arranging commercial loans, private placements, syndicated bank facilities, and public debt and equity issuances. His depth of experience is a significant benefit in assisting Mill Creek clients with financial, operational, and strategic issues.

Mr. Benjamin holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Stanford University, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Cornells Johnson School.

Daniel J. Mellbye
Senior Business Advisor
Daniel J. Mellbye was working in Sales and Marketing with Clever Ideas, Inc prior to joining the Mill Creek team. His work led him throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, providing marketing and finance programs for independent and national restaurants to improve measurable results in sales and cash flow.

Prior to this position Dan was a licensed sales agent for a large insurance company providing multiple lines of insurance in Pennsylvania.

Dan holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.

Craig T. Staats
Senior Business Advisor
Craig T. Staats joined Mill Creek Partners with a strong restaurant operations background. Over a career spanning 15 years, he held management positions with Marriott Hotels, S&A Restaurants, Darden Restaurants and Cosi. Craig has opened numerous businesses from the ground up and was involved in new business development and strategic planning as a Regional Director of Operations with Darden Restaurants.

Craig has broad sales & marketing experience, most recently working for an importer, roaster and distributor of coffee. In this position he dealt directly with business owners often assisting in the execution of their sales and marketing plans.

He has held leadership positions within his community often dealing with small to medium sized business owners. His depth of experience is a significant benefit in assisting Mill Creek clients with operations, sales and marketing, as well as financial issues.

Mr. Staats holds a Bachelors degree in management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island.

Bernard Anderson
Business Advisor
Bernard joined Mill Creek Partners in 2006. Bernard is a Business Advisor in Acquisition and Sales, in our Conshohocken office. Prior to joining Mill Creek Partners, Bernard was a specialist at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange for three years. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst at a New York investment bank. Bernard is a student at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he concentrates on Corporate Finance and Buyouts of Acquisitions.

Richard Hacherl
Business Advisor
Dick joined the Mill Creek Team after a broad career in manufacturing. He most recently served as V P Operations for a medium sized company manufacturing complex high reliability electronic equipment for military applications. He- purchased and operated a small manufacturing business for over 4 years,- served as Operations Manager and New Business Development Manager for a major division of a NYSE corporation manufacturing valve and pipe equipment devices; and,- was a Product Manager in the mechanical carbon graphite industry.

In each of his positions, he has been heavily involved with business development through new product and acquisition initiatives. His experience in a broad range of manufacturing industries, processes, and markets provides a solid basis for assisting Mill Creek Clients.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
